Good morning wonderful family

Good morning my wonderful family it is a wonderful monday morning and I thought it would be fun to send the photos that we took when I was in the hospital. My companion Elder Fuentes is super funny. He was making me laugh so hard becuase he was acting as if the doctor and taking pictures of it. I hope you like them...hahaha! All is going so wonderful. We have changes tommorow and Elder fuentes will be heading to another area up north in the colder part of nicaragua matagalpa and I will be still here in managua. I sure am going to miss my little salvadarian companion but I know that he will do a lot of good in the area to come.  Time has been flying by and I am truly exicted for this change to come. It sure is wierd to think that I will be finishing soon and I don´t ever want it to end. I wish that I could extend another year but I am truly exicted to see you guys and thats what makes me truly happy. what great joy that day will be. So the other day as I was studying the  section of preach my gospel on christ like attributes I decied to take the exam to see in what parts of the attributes I need to work on and in what ways. It turned out that I need work in all areas...haha! but I feel that I truly have grown and am far from what I was when I began the mission. I am truly grateful for our savior he is the master who is working in our lives the changes and tune ups that we need to become a master piece.  A parable that I once heard that has always stuck with me is that each of us can be compared to a piece of metal. Being a piece of metal we are strong we are capable of forming into many things, examples door handles to open doors for people, car door to protect the passengers in the car, a gold ring to represent purity and loyalty a ones spouse. But to become what we want to be, we must first willing give ourselves to the master carftsman. From there hey looks at his plans of who you will become and what valuble service you will bring to others. Next he places you through a process of much fervent heat and testing to see if you will stand strong or will be to soft and brake. When the process is finsihed he begins to bend and mold each part and at times places you to reheat and form some more. At the end the master piece is astonding and the worth of every part esential. from the smallest nail to the metal of a airplane. every part is important and has been formed to perform its duty. I know that the lord has a plan for each of us, he gives us trials and opsticals to help us form to our part. The key to becoming and full filling your part is turning your voluntad to him.  In these last few months left I am truly humble and exicted to recieve my final mold to be ready to serve him in the future. We just received news of changes and I have been called to serve as a trainer in the area of ruben dario still as district leader. I have been praying for a oppurtunity to work my hardest these last few months and become better in everyway possible and well I guess I probably shouldn´t have asked for it...hahaha! because now I am training, and as a district leader still, but this is my chance to study hard work hard and play hard with my new companion.  My new companion will be coming tomomrow and today we have a meetting with presidente collado for all the new trainers and so I have to go but I am exited. These our the greatest times of my life and jacob and erick spencer and james there is nothing more thrilling more rewarding and more joyful then to serve the lord and be a valuable piece of metal for our closest friend and savior Jesucristo. It's a wonderful life

Querido familia,

thank you dad so very much for your email, in this great time of the navidad the spirit of christmas is all around and the lord is touching the lives of his childern in miraculous ways. This past week we saw some of the first fruits of christmas, as we put forth all of our heart might mind and strength in this glorious work. As we began to teach the family of hermana flor the recent convert that we baptized this past week, it was truly amazing. When we meet with the family on tuesday afternoon we started of with a hymn prayer and before we could begin to start our lesson, the mom of flor said to us, elderes I have been studying and pondering much in my heart this week about the things that you elders have taught and the feelings that I have felt in the baptism of my daughter and the good feeling I had this past week at church and elders I want to be baptized....

    Me and my companion both looked at eachother and smiled really big. The spirit was so strong in the lesson, that it seemed as dad always says you could cut it like butter, and a warm feeling of excitment feeled me and my companions souls. Since being together we have worked hard and it has been a strugle to get people to go to church and progressing towards baptism, but this expierence helped me open my heart and eyes to the wonderful gift of the savior that he has given to all to help come to know the truth. Truly it was through the holy ghost that helped this wonderful sister be baptized despite much persuction from family memembers and friends and now has helped her mother and sister come to know the truth of this work through gift of the holy ghost. 

   I know that the lord loves each and everyone of his childern and in this wonderful season of christmas is when the lord wants to bless his childern with his spirit,and gift of the spirit of christmas. I am so grateful for all that the lord has blessed me with and for a wonderful family and friends that have helped and supported. Just like the christmas carol we to can find the spirit of hope, of joy and a look for the gift we will bring to the babe jesus. I am so exicted to soon be able to talk with you all and I invite each every one of you james spencer jacob erick mom dad josh jessie and weston haha! to right a list of things that you want to become better in and thing look each day of this week for the small blessings of christmas in each day and look for ways to spread this christmas spirit with all, through a smile, through a huge, through service to your brothers or nieghbors that live by us, and invite all to, come and adore him. I know that he lives that he was born in a humble stable to wonderful parents. He is the prince of peace and the king of kings and he is always there when we need him. He is the joy and hope for salvation and we must always be grateful and thankful for this gift of hope  in our lives. Thank you so very much for your prayers, love comfort and support. this is the most wonderful time of the year. and I have a holly jolly christmas. Thank you so much for thinking of me, you guys didn´t have to send me a package but I truly and grateful. Thank you so much for all that you do. James and spencer only 4 and a half months left tell all be able to see you. can´t believe that its that close. try not to grow up to fast before I get back and like mother always says you can{t grow up. Jacob and erick you are my heros, keep up the wonderful work that you are doing in helping others and making others feel good. look for ways to help those who are maybe sad and help them to be glad. And have a wonderful time with this school break and help mom and dad out with the two I mean three little monkeys now...hahaa, Thank you mom for sending the package and dad for all you do. I am so grateful for your letters each week. It always helps give me a little boast to work harder. That is so awesome to hear that josh malzhan is now back from his mission. Way to go., mission accomplished and now on to his next missions haha! tell him that he is awesome and that I wish him and his family a very merry christmas all the way down from nicaragua. Tell grandpa and grandma lewis and boyd that I love them very much and all the wonderful gang. danae hayden vicky jt merie uncle kurt audrey david david leyloni ribboldis uncle jay darlin jacob noel talmage robin uncle eddy aunt moliy aunt annie and her wonderful family and husband I hope all is well with them and that they all have a very merry christmas... and that goes for all, and sorry if I missed a couple of people but just isn´t enough room left on the page if I were to write them all out haha! but what a termedous family, josh and jessie merry christmas and a wonderful happy new year and baby weston... haha! I am exicted to hear from you guys soon. so we can do the call through skype on the 22nd on sunday night or if there is another day that works better we can do it as well just let me know and on thrusday I will check my email and do a test run to see if skype will work. oh and I almost forgot to write, I recieved A wonderful package from josh and jessie that truly was a AMAZING with capitual letters!! haha! thank you guys so very much for your love and for the socks and air heads and m&ms and I can´t remember what else because I ate it so fast...Haha No I am just kidding but seriously was a huge blessing of love and joy...Jessie I loved the note that you wrote and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful sister in law and family. I always did say that you were like the sister that I never had and now you are my (sister) in law. HAha! Keep that crazy monkey(josh) of yours in line. He is a wild one!! haha! I love you bro can´t wait to see you all and your wonderful baby. he will be so big by time I get back...

   Oh and mom tell the wonderful primary teacher thank you so so very much for the letters of the little kids. THey were AWesome and so funny!! I loved them so much and they brought a lot of joy into me. kids just have so much love and now just what to say... One of them that I can remeber said (Elder Boyd are you on your mission? Where are you? thank you for being a missionary.) haha! it was so great I will have to write next week a quick note to the kids becuase I didn´t bring the letters with me. I will send a email next week. 

   I also recived a wonderful letter from Hermana coon that brought much encourgament and strength. She has been a wonderful friend throughout all the years and always has helped me to go the extra mile more and to become better. Happy blated halloween and birthday spencer. Wow can´t beleive that it is already another year spencer!! You are getting so big! I loved the video that dad sent of your friends and james singing the funny birthday song and then you trying to blow out the candles but they wouldn´t blow out...haha! Love you spencer and I hope it was a wonderful birthday for you. By the looks of the wonderful cake it must have been a wonderful birthday. That cake looked so good. 6 more months to go in two days. wow crazy to think.

My wonderful companion Elder Fuentes from el salvador. He has been helping me so much to relearn spanish. While I was on the alantic we spoke mainly miskito so my spanish got mixed up a lot. It was truly hard the first few days not to say. Nahksa nahkisma, yang nini elder Boyd an man pianiki bah ninam Elder thomas, yang nani wansna imbivit man nani munisa priasra waia naha sunday. Man nani simpsa priasra waia? man an mani brisma, man bah cristiantakaia. Ani wina? (translation)

Hey, how are you today, my name is elder boyd and my companions name is Elder Thomas, We want to invite you guys to church this sunday. Can you guys go to church? How old are you? Are you baptized? Where do you live... and so forth and so when I went to contact I began saying these phares and relized that they couldn´t understand... Haha! 

Elder Fuentes is super funny always has a joke up his sleeve. He is very loving and patient and has a powerful testimony. He is only been a convert for 3 years and is serving faithfully. The only thing is he doesn´t have much support from home, and he comes from a very humble home in el salvador but It would be wonderful if you could dad or mom or any of the brothers write a quick note or email on my email to him, this next week and I can translate what you write to him. It would make his day. Love you guys.
